Charge Pod has proved itself to be an inspiring example of British ingenuity and innovation which utilises ground-breaking technology in order to provide the best possible out-of-charge solution to a flat or severely charge depleted electric vehicle. For instance, the Charge Pod system can be powered by the world’s first ultra-lightweight and compact 10kW generator, which weighs just 9kg. The generator is representative of a revolutionary approach to mobile power generation which means Charge Pod is able to offer the best possible balance between charging time at the roadside, weight of the system on the patrol vehicle engine, and efficiency.
The RAC are seeing drivers run out of charge at the roadside before they have been able to reach a static charging station and have anticipated this number to rise substantially as more EV come on to our roads in the coming years. All other potential solutions to this problem on the global marketplace are problematic and cannot offer the unparalleled specifications delivered by Charge Pod.
