The mechanical engineering field requires an understanding of core areas including mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity.
In addition to these core principles, mechanical engineers use tools such as computer aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and product life cycle management to design and analyse manufacturing plants, industrial equipment and machinery, heating and cooling systems, transport systems, aircraft, watercraft, robotics, medical devices, weapons, and others. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery.
An engineering discipline which utilises active electrical components and devices, diodes and integrated tracks to design electronic circuits, devices and systems.
Electronic engineering (also called electronics and communications engineering) is an electrical engineering discipline which utilises nonlinear and active electrical components (such as semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits) to design electronic circuits, devices, VLSI devices and their systems.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
…uses numerical analysis and algorithms to solve and analyse problems that are involved fluid and gas flows.
Our Engineers design, model and perform the calculations required to simulate the interaction between solids, liquids and gases with surfaces and paths defined by boundary conditions.
Complex simulation scenarios such as turbulent flows can be achieved through to the final validation and full-scale testing.
Finite Element Analysis
A computerised method for predicting how a product reacts to real-world forces, vibration, heat, fluid flow, and other physical effects.
Finite element analysis shows whether a product will break, wear out, or work in the way it was designed to be.
The finite element method (FEM), is a numerical method for solving problems of engineering and mathematical physics. Typical problem areas of interest include structural analysis, heat transfer, fluid flow, mass transport, and electromagnetic potential.
The analytical solution of these problems generally require the solution to boundary value problems for partial differential equations.
